About the BelmontNA

The Belmont Neighborhood Association was originally created in the early 1980's. It was absorbed into the Lower Greenville NA after a difference of opinion regarding development split the membership a few years later.

The new BelmontNA was re-created in 2003 when neighbors realized the Lower Greenville NA had no interest in quality of life issues - noise, traffic, parking, positive redevelopment, and code compliance - so important to our neighborhood.

The BelmontNA is the only neighborhood association in Dallas that was not permitted membership in the Dallas Homeowners League, due to our very independent and pro-active attitude.

BelmontNA legal documents

The Belmont NA’s Board of Directors recognizes that we must adhere to all applicable state and federal laws out ofrespect to its membership and the community around us.

To that end, BelmontNA will post copies of all documents issued by any state or federal agency. The only limits will be the blacking out of any personal information that could be misused, such as Social Security numbers.

BelmontNA’s board challenges other neighborhood associations in the Lower Greenville area to make public (on their website) their own documents for review, not simply upon request for inspection by a member.
